How do I restore my purchase?

Open the app → Settings → Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

Why is the exchange rate not updating?

Rates come from the European Central Bank and update once per business day; Taiwan dollar and Vietnamese dong rates come from ExchangeRate-API and update daily. The app shows the date of the last successful refresh at the bottom of the converter screen.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. The last fetched rates are stored locally. You can convert without an internet connection using the cached rates — useful when you land in Japan before sorting out a SIM or eSIM.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Go to iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → JPY Converter → Cancel.

What data does the app collect?

No personal data is collected or stored. The app uses anonymous crash reporting and anonymous usage analytics only. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
